The Tapptoons Linetester enables animators to input their drawings using a scanner or compatible video capture card, edit the sequence with up to 7 animation levels, view the levels seperately or merged together and output the movie to an AVI file. Colour can also be added to the images.

Anim8or is a 3D modeling and character animation program that I have written over the past couple of years, not as a commercial endeavor, but because I love 3D graphics, animation, and programming. While it is far from a complete professional level application like 3DStudio MAX or Lightwave, I believe that it has enough capability to be of use to others.

Exsate DV Capture Live is a fast and easy to use DV capture software for encoding to DivX, AVI, WMV in real time. The program automatically operates your DV camcorder and allows you to use batch capture, scenes detection, capture to multiple files, detects the end of the recording, displays the DV date time stamp within your movie. In additio the program performs some tasks to make the capture process more comfortable for you: rewinds a tape, shutdown a PC, etc. etc.

Red Hand is a basic security camera application written in C# that makes use of a webcam for survilance purposes. It essentially takes pictures then constantly compares them (pixel by pixel, the quality can be changed for speed purposes). If a different picture is detected then it saves the picture into the 'Capture' folder where it is labeled by date and time. So in summary it detects motion and saves an image of the detected movement.

Add pools of water to images or videos, the pools can be animated to give gentle rippling reflections of the scene above. Choose from a variety of ripples, and control details such as wave size and perspective. Save animations as Flash or video. You can even use the program as a free video to Flash converter (AVI to swf, AVI to Flash etc) by drawing a 'dummy' reflecting area!

Stoik Capturer allows you to capture video from DV camcorder or any analog video source such as TV tuner, video card, Webcam. Capture to AVI or WMV with selected codec or profile, option to capture through temporary file (direct from capture devices without recompression) to avoid drop frames during recompression. Split capture file by size to override file size limitations. Ability to control your DV camera or any device, which supports device control from Capturer. Ability to output DV AVI to DV camcorder.

VirtualDub is an Open Source, video capture/processing utility. It lacks the editing power of a general-purpose editor such as Adobe Premiere, but is streamlined for fast linear operations over video. It has batch-processing capabilities for processing large numbers of files and can be extended with third-party video filters. VirtualDub is mainly geared toward processing AVI files, although it can read (not write) MPEG-1 and also handle sets of BMP images.

FastCodec - free fast lossless video codec designed for video capture or video data archiving. Supported input and output formats are YUY2, RGB24, RGB32. Codec has two compression modes: lossy (only for RGB input) and lossless. Decompression in preview mode. Frame size restrictions:- Lossless compression requires that frame width and height must be a multiple of 4. Lossy compression requires that frame height is multiple of 4 but frame width is multiple of 8.
